Full Circle

When all has been said
Yet nothings been done
When our dreams lie destroyed
At the gates of the Sun
When the dawn has turned crimson
When the skies seem like blood
Then we’ve turned the full circle
Returned to the mud
When we’ve wasted our chance
To be kings for a day
When all that we’d treasured
Falls into decay
When the hours we misused
Is the time we now need
Then the darkness will rise
From our sickness – Our greed
When we finally tire
With the toys of the mad
When we’ve lost any chance
We may ever have had
When we’re crying and dying
With our backs to the wall
Then we’ve shown all we’ve known
Has meant nothing at all
