Portencross

Where did this song come from?

Well I'll keep this one quite brief...

Go there, wherever you are in the world, go to Portencross...

It's the only song I've ever written about a place. It's got a 13th Century Castle, a pier and lots of rocks...

The one thing I tried to capture of the place because it is on the seashore is the movement of the waves, which I really tried to get that and I think I managed it.
